Tarot cards are used for general guidance and for predicting the future or future outcomes. There are many different types of tarot decks available. One of the most well-known tarot decks is the Rider Waite Tarot, commonly referred to as'The Fools Journey'. This deck is made up of 78 cards and comprises of 56 Minor and 22 Major Arcana. The Minor Arcana is divided into four suits (Cups, Pentacles, Swords and Wands) and are numbered 1-10. The Major Arcana depicts a story or timeline of the fool on his journey through life and the charcters, the challenges and the triumphs he experiences along the way.

During a tarot reading session, the reader may ask you to shuffle the cards while focusing your energy into the deck. You may be asked to select a number of cards. Each card contains a message through the use of numbers, symbols, colours, people etc. The reader will interpet  the combination of cards for you and offer you guidance to any matters (concious or sub-concious) that relate to you.
